“Captain America: Civil War” Makes Thanksgiving Delicious

First Official Trailer for “Captain America: Civil War” Premiere’s on “Jimmy Kimmel”

Wow.

Also, wow.

The trailer has dropped for “Civil War” and … wow.

While it does pin Captain America vs. Iron Man, this isn’t going to be a verbatim retelling of the Mark Millar “Marvel: Civil War” story line at all. The post-credits scene at the end of “Ant-Man” showed Captain America and the Falcon recovering Cap’s friend Bucky – The Winter Soldier – who had been brainwashed into working for Hydra as an assassin. This new film appears to deal with the consequence of that decision, Cap’s insistence on protecting his friend (rather than turning him in to authorities), and the larger question of sacrificing freedom for security.

Let me say nothing further. Check it out for yourself. It looks to be a lot more focused than “Avengers 2” was.

“Captain America: Civil War” will be released May 6, 2016.
