First Crocodile Dundee, now this: For the second year in a row, Slide Melbourne will be taking over Lansdowne Street this summer for two days of fun on the world’s longest Slip’N’Slide.
On Sunday, December 6 2015, and again on Sunday, February 7 2016, there will be five sessions each day and for $41 (plus booking) you slide as many times as you can in the course of two hours.
Of course, how many times can you do if you have to walk a kilometer up a hill after each run?
For the Americans: 400 metres is about 1200 feet and thus really, really long. In the Southern Hemisphere, summer is December, January and February, so, no, people won’t freeze to death doing this. Again, I implore all of you to learn some metric and stop embarrassing me.
